Every August, the Algonquin Hotel opens its doors to celebrate its special feline resident with a birthday party, a cat fashion show, and adoption event benefitting the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals to promote feline adoption in New York City.
This year’s celebration honored Hamlet, the current, reigning king of the Algonquin and the theme was the Purr-ing 20’s. It was also a preview party for the upcoming release of Hamlet, The Algonquin Cat.
